Dr. Valerie Bender grew up in Geneva, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University in southern Kentucky before going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2018.

Dr. Bender is passionate about building long-term relationships with her clients and their pets, and she believes that client education is a vital part of providing excellent veterinary care. She is dedicated to partnering with pet owners to ensure the best possible outcomes for their animals.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bender enjoys running, skiing, and golfing. Most of all, she values spending quality time with her family.
