Christy grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where she spent much of her time riding and showing horses, sparking her lifelong passion for animal care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Health Science from Cal Poly Pomona, followed by a master’s degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Arizona.

In 2020, Christy and her husband made the move to Colorado and joined the team at Arvada Flats Veterinary Hospital. Christy especially loves the hands-on aspect of surgery and is passionate about client education, helping pet owners feel confident and informed about their pets’ care.

Outside of work, Christy loves spending time outdoors—whether she’s skiing, hiking, backpacking, or riding horses. She also enjoys embroidery and relaxing at home with her playful Golden Retriever, Peter.
